Functional Description
The TRANBERG® 9952 Ex control system was developed to optimise the functions of the illuminated circle H from Stahl TRANBERG® IMT for helicopter landing pads. The Ex control panel consists of an Ex d enclosure and an Ex e enclosure. For indirect cable entry into the Ex d enclosure 8164, enclosures with connection chambers from the 8125 series with ‘increased safety’ type of protection are used, which are equipped with cable entries. The special direct feed-through in the Ex d enclosure can be used to establish a connection between two flameproof enclosures. This solution enables a very compact design of the control and distribution panels, as no connection chamber enclosure is required for the through connection.
